Incredible Opportunity to Reach the Least-Evangelized People in the World!
The geographic area of Equip India's ministry includes 3,093 of these unreached people groups, or 46% of the world’s total. Equip India’s training is scattered throughout South Asia and near many unreached people groups identified on the world map prepared by The Joshua Project.
Jesus commanded us to "go therefore and make disciples of all
nations" (Matt. 28:19, RSV). The Greek for "all nations" is
panto, ta ethne. Ethne is the root for
the English word "ethnic." Thus Jesus wants the gospel to go to all
ethnic groups, peoples, tribes, cultures, and homogeneous units in the
different countries. The book of Revelation on several occasions talks about
mission as being directed to "every nation, tribe, language and
people" (Rev. 14:6, NlV; cf. Rev. 5:9; 7:9; 11:9). Missiologists refer to such a group as a
people group.
Equip India has identified and is spearheading a coordinated effort to reach
these unreached people groups by equipping and challenging nearby churches and
mission groups for the task at hand. One
such pastor from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, wrote, "We did a Church-based
Workshop from Equip India in our Church, and we praise God for that. Now we
have 15-20 young leaders because of that training. We did outreach on a regular
basis, and God has given the results.
In Agra’s outskirts villages, we have established five different churches with
new converted members. On average, each new church branch has 55 members. We
are looking for more training from Equip India so that we can witness to
several nearby unreached people groups, and we need more leaders for that.”
Please join in finishing the task and reaching 46% of the world's unreached
people groups. We must make "Christ's last command" our priority.
