Equip India Training Empowers Layperson to Lead Police Officer to Christ
FEROZPUR, PUNJAB, INDIA—Manik Fazal, a Christian from
Ferozpur, Punjab, North India, credits an Equip India workshop with empowering
him to share his faith for the first time. Attending the training, Manik
learned how to share the Gospel effectively and overcome his fear of
witnessing. Inspired by the training, Manik felt led to share his faith with
his neighbor, a policeman named Lal Bahadur. Despite initial hesitation due to
the sensitive political climate in India, Manik took the initiative and, with
the support of Pastor George Masih, shared the Gospel with Lal Bahadur.
Lal Bahadur listened intently and ultimately accepted Christ, promising to attend church and follow Him. According to Manik, Lal Bahadur's life has since been transformed, and he is now sharing his newfound faith with fellow police officers and his staff. Manik and Pastor Masih provided him with a Bible. Manik expressed his gratitude to God for this impactful work and Equip India's role in delivering the training that enabled him to share his faith.
