Equip India Training Sparks "Explosive Growth" in Punjab Churches
PUNJAB, INDIA - Testimonies from pastors in
Punjab, North India, highlight the significant impact of Equip India's training
on church growth. Two pastors shared remarkable stories of expansion within
their congregations after their members participated in Equip India workshops.
Pastor Raipal of the Church of Salem in Amritsar
described the training as transformative. He reported that, through the efforts
of his 47 church members, an impressive 115 new members joined their church
within just three months. Encouraged by this success, his members continue to
share the Gospel actively, and plans are underway to organize more workshops in
their new branch churches to further equip new believers in evangelism.
Similarly, Pastor Amripal from a church in Bhatinda
shared his long-held desire for church growth, which finally materialized after
his entire congregation, including children, attended an Equip India workshop
in November. During the practical "on-the-job training," church
members ventured out to share their faith and were surprised to see some of
those they spoke with join them at church. This consistent witnessing led to 47
new members joining their "small church" in December, prompting
Pastor Amripal to joyfully declare, "It is no longer a 'small' church!
Praise the Lord!"
These accounts underscore the effectiveness of Equip India's training in empowering church members to actively share their faith and contribute to the region's rapid growth.
