An excited pastor, Shirish, from the Free Methodist
Church in Bombay, wrote: “Harvest outreach teams consisting of 175 trainers
from 52 Witnessing without Fear trained churches in Bombay shared the Gospel
with 17,13 people, of whom 4,524 prayed to receive Christ. We have recently been
following up on 4,909 of them. In addition, we distributed 412,525 Gospel
tracts. Even more exciting was the passion and confidence these teams
demonstrated in sharing their faith, having been trained.
We desire to give all 22 million Indians living in Bombay an opportunity to hear, understand, and respond to the Gospel and be discipled into communities of believers.”
After receiving “Witnessing without Fear”
training, these 52 churches now see themselves as “Great Commission Churches” concerned
with the salvation of the local community and people in other cultures in
remote parts of the world.
