Amazing India needs God’s Amazing Grace!

A young pastor named Ravi John, and his wife Pretty attended a Witnessing without Fear Workshop. Excited, they returned to their local church in Lucknow, India, to teach and train others to be trainers of soul winners.  

The following month, Deepak Roy, a Witnessing with Fear implementation fieldworker living in the area,  met with Pastor Ravi, his wife, and their church elders and discussed the possibility of helping them start Witnessing without Fear training in their church. Deepak presented the ministry well, and the elders were convinced.  After much prayer and preparation, the POSSIBILITY was turned into a REALITY! 

God has shown His faithfulness in preparing, promoting, and coordinating for a month of preparation. He has provided the manpower, money, and materials necessary for the equipping.

The first training session began in August, and Pastor Ravi and Pretty each equipped two trainees.  During the next training semester, these four trainees (now trainers) and the Pastor and his wife each enlisted and trained two new trainees. Within 18 months, they have equipped 62 trainers who have not only gained confidence in presenting the Gospel through actual witnessing situations under the guidance of experienced trainers but have been equipped to train trainers of trainers of soul winners.  They now see themselves as a “Great Commission Church,” one concerned with the salvation of those in the local community and people in other cultures in remote parts of the world.
