STRENGTHENING THE CHURCH by giving pastors the tools to STUDY, INTERPRET and PREACH the Word of God.

Equip India is preparing pastors and gifted Bible teachers in how to provide sound Bible teaching.  This Bible teaching program was developed by Village Ministries International (VMI), which was founded in 1992, to take sound Bible teaching to the 90%+ of the pastors who have little or no previous Bible study training. Using basic theological concepts, the goal of this manual and its accompanying workbook is to educate Christians in the fundamentals of the faith and to give them the tools to study and interpret the Word of God.

Rev. Prasad, the principal of a leading theological college in India commented on our Foundation-Building in the Faith study book and teaching, “The teaching that you are providing is indeed of great need in our land. I am very happy about this initiative. Larger places like Bible Colleges, etc. can never meet this growing need. But I will say, this project must carry on and it has to be a big national movement reaching out to thousands of pastors who are theologically untrained. I am not aware of anyone else doing anything of this sort.”
