Scripture
We believe the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired Word of God, and that they are the supreme and only authority for faith and practice.
Trinity
We believe in the tri-unity of God: that the eternal God manifests Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God, but separate in personality and work.
Creation
We believe in the creation of the universe and all living things by a direct act of God in 6 literal days. Adam, the first created man, rebelled against God’s sovereign command bringing sin and death into God’s creation to all mankind.
Incarnation of the Son of God
We believe in the incarnation and virgin birth of the Word of God, Jesus of Nazareth. We believe in His sinless life, in the sufficiency and substitutional blood atonement of His death on the cross for the sins of the whole world; the Son of God’s bodily resurrection on the third day from the dead; His ascension into heaven now seated in authority over His creation. As the believer’s High Priest, the Lord Jesus intercedes for redeemed sinners, which is His mystical body. Redeemed sinners pray to the awesome Holy, Creator-Redeemer God in the name of “Jesus”.
Salvation
We believe that all are sinners which are saved by grace through faith alone and that they are accounted righteous before God only through the atoning blood sacrifice of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is wholly by grace through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ and is not based on the work or duty performance of the one being delivered from the “Lake of Fire”, the tormenting penalty for sin.
Consummation of the Ages
We believe in the imminent removal of the mystical body of Christ before the great tribulation. At the conclusion of the great tribulation, the time of Jacob’s trouble Christ will reign for 1000 years on His Davidic throne at Jerusalem, He will conquer all of His enemies. The last enemy brought under His ruling authority will be death. At such time God’s final “Great White Throne” judgment of the living and the dead will occur. Non-believers dying in their sins, without faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, will be sent to everlasting torment. Believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with the Creator-Redeemer God. The glorious eternal state of God will ensue and God then will be all and in all.
